Barcelona and Real Madrid get ready to square off this weekend, so get your chips and bear, and don’t forget to place a bet on El Clasico!
The Catalans have been leading the charge in La Liga all season, while Real have endured a tumultuous spell ever since letting go of former manager Carlo Ancelotti in the summer. As it stands on the table currently, Barcelona are first with 76 points from 30 games, whereas the Madrid side have only managed to collect 66 points, which puts them in third position. Their cross rivals Atletico Madrid are second with one point more to their name.
Luis Enrique’s men have notched up a form that is enviable all across Europe. They’ve only suffered a loss in the league twice this season, against Celta Vigo (September 23) and Seville (October 3), and both of those games were played away from home. Considering that the Nou Camp is an impregnable fortress, the odds are heavily in their favour for this weekend’s match.

Bet on El Clasico with Bet365 Sports – the odds for Barcelona are 1.57 (4/7), while Los Blancos are viewed as outsiders 4.75 (15/4). A draw stands at 4.50 (7/2), but that event is unlikely as the Catalans are enjoying sublime form. (If you’d like to know more about the online sportsbook, please check out Bet365 Sports Review.)
You might also want to consider placing a bet on El Clasico with William Hill Sports. Their odds are slightly better: Barca 1.65 (13/20), Real 4.40 (17/5) and a tie 4.40 (17/5).
With only eight games to go in the season, Barcelona are the absolute favorites to defend their title 1.005 (1/200), with Real Madrid trailing way behind on the odds charts 41.00 (40/1) per Bet365 Sports. With these odds in mind, it’s not even worth betting on the Catalans, so we advise you to look at other markets that have higher odds.
With both sides playing attacking football, there’s a high chance the game will have Over 2.5 Goals 1.36 (4/11), while the odds for Under 2.5 Goals are not likely 3.10 (21/10), per Bet365 Sports. If you choose to bet on El Clasico for this market with William Hill Sports, the odds are almost the same: Over 2.5 Goals 1.33 (1/3) and Under 2.5 Goals 3.25 (9/4).

Messi, Suarez and Neymar, appropriately dubbed “MSN,” have been firing on all cylinders this season, notching a combined 107 between them in all competitions so far. After countless years of being the main attacking threat in front of goal, Messi has been overthrown this season by Suarez who has scored 43 goals, while the Argentine managed “only” 37 until this point. Neymar is also doing pretty well, with 27 goals to his name.
Real’s BBC trio (Bale, Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo) on the other hand have bagged a total of 80 goals across all competitions until now. Keeping with tradition, Ronaldo serves as the focal point of the attack, so he’s sure to pose a threat to Barcelona’s defence, having already scored 41 goals this season. Benzema is second with 24 goals, while Bale has only 15 to his name, with all of them coming in his last 18 La Liga appearances.
With all of this attacking talent set to lock horns on Saturday, we’re pretty sure that both teams will score. That’s why if you’re planning on making a bet on El Clasico, this is the market that pays out the most, while still not being too risky. For Barcelona to win and both sides to score, Bet365 Sports gives odds of 2.50 (6/4). At William Hill Sports, the odds are just slightly better for the Catalans to win and for Both Teams to Score 2.60 (8/5).
You might even like Bet365 Sports’ Handicap Result market for both sides. Bet on El Clasico with a -1 handicap on the hosts for odds of 2.30 (13/10). If you’re really confident on Barcelona’s attacking trio, then this is the right wager for you. A +1 handicap on Zidane’s side gives out 2.40 (7/5), while the same handicap for a draw stands at 4.00 (3/1).
William Hill Sports offers better odds for Barcelona with the -1 handicap 2.37 (11/8), whereas the odds for Madrid are lower than at Bet365 Sports, with them being 2.25 (5/4) for a +1 handicap. A Draw stands at 4.20 (16/5) with either the -1 Barcelona or +1 Real Madrid handicap.
